Violent criminals in California are being released early from prison, only to head back to the streets to prey on more innocent victims. This revolving door of "flash justice" is putting the public at risk, says prosecutor Michele Hanisee. At the same time, state lawmakers are passing so-called "safety" bills that do anything but keep residents safe—their liberal policies and soft-on-crime positions are making California a very dangerous place to live.
"When they're releasing violent felons into our communities who served a fraction of their sentences, it makes me want to own guns," states Hanisee. "Gotta be able to protect yourself because the state is not going to do it."
