On this edition of Curator's Corner, John Popp joins National Firearms Museum Senior Curator Phil Schreier to discuss a Colt Cobra Revolver with an aluminum frame. Manufactured between the 1950s and the 1980s, the Colt Cobra came in a variety of calibers ... .22, .32 and .38. There was also a variety of checkering, grips, butt stocks and other aspects of the gun. Gun makers stopped using aluminum for guns because of the poor finish and recoil. Originally aired on Sportsman Channel Cam & Co. 7/8/13.
