On this edition of Curator's Corner, John Popp joins National Firearms Museum Senior Curator Phil Schreier and special guest Thomas Ives, Chief Safety Officer at the NRA Range, to discuss Ives's Colt .32 New Police Positive Special Model 1968. Ives purchased the pistol from a friend that had once belonged to the friend's father. It had never been fired and is virtually in 100% condition, still in the original box and oil paper wrapper. Schreier tracked down the gun's history and shares with viewers how they can also find the history and value of guns in their collections. Originally aired 6/16/2011.
