On this edition of Curator's Corner, John Popp joins National Firearms Museum Senior Curator Phil Schreier in the National Firearms Museum Vault one last time to view the Winchester 21 "Cross-Eyed." Schreier explains that some shooters, himself included, do not have the same dominant eye as they have hand. For example, Schreier is right-handed but left-eye dominant. Some gunsmiths, he explains, have found ways to get around this unique condition including Winchester. This gun features a curved stock that allows the shooter to hold the gun on his right shoulder but aim through his left eye. Originally aired 5/5/2011.
