An elegant hunting piece designed for British royalty. On today's Curator's Corner, John Popp is joined by National Firearms Museum Senior Curator Phil Schreier to present a fowler, or shotgun for hunting birds, designed by the famous English gunsmith Joseph Manton in the late 1790's or early 1800's. This piece, which is marked by an understated beauty, was made for the Duke of York Frederick Augustus, son of King George III. Originally aired on 2/19/2009.
