Traveling exhibit showcases pistols of various police agencies. On today's Curator's Corner, John Popp joins National Firearms Museum Senior Curator Phil Schreier at the site of the 2009 NRA National Police Shooting Championships in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Schreier introduces five guns that the Museum selected from its law-enforcement exhibit for display at the event. The iconic weapons include a Colt .45 revolver owned by Texas Rangers Frank and Harrison Hamer, along with Dirty Harry's famous .44 Magnum. Also present are a Texas Ranger's Beretta and badge, a Drug Enforcement Administration agent's Colt .45, and the Smith & Wesson pistol carried by a New York police officer who died in the September 11 attacks.
