Here's more "cool stuff" from the NRA National Firearms Museum in Fairfax, Virginia. John Popp and firearms specialist Logan Metesh are looking at a standard Colt Model 1851 Navy. It was carried by Major Byron M. Cutcheon during the Civil War. He was awarded the Medal of Honor for his heroic actions in 1863 in a charge on a house occupied by the enemy at Horseshoe Bend, Kentucky. It was chronicled in the book, Deeds of Valor. Both the revolver and Cutcheon's Medal of Honor are owned by the museum and on display.
