John Popp welcomes NRA Museums director Jim Supica and senior curator Phil Schreier to the set of Curator's Corner for another Gun Gurus reunion at the 2018 NRA Annual Meetings in Dallas. They've invited Lynn Wood and C.B. Wilson of the Smith & Wesson Collectors Association with another silver medal award-winning display from the show. It's the Smith & Wesson First Model Russian with holster owned by the notorious outlaw John Wesley Hardin. He used it to shoot Deputy Sheriff Charles Webb in Comanche, Texas in 1874. When a lynch mob approached, the sheriff released Hardin, who dropped his gun in the confusion.
