In a special Curator's Corner from the 2018 NRA Annual Meetings in Dallas, John Popp is joined by NRA Museums director Jim Supica and senior curator Phil Schreier. They usually show off history, but this time it's history in the making. Tom and Hedy Heizer-Gahn were at the 2013 Annual Meetings in Houston when their dad started drawing on a napkin. The result was the Heizer PKO45. They present the concept model, the experimental model and the first production gun, serial number 1. It's .8 inches wide stainless steel construction. The barrel is fixed to the frame. It's perfect for concealed carry. Born in Missouri, it now has a new home at the NRA National Firearms Museum in Fairfax, Virginia.
