John Popp and NRA Museums Director Jim Supica present part three of a nine-part series from the from the NRA National Sporting Arms Museum. It's located at the Bass Pro Shops headquarters in Springfield, Missouri. The company was founded by Johnny Morris. The well-worn Browning A5 semi-auto shotgun on display belonged to Johnny's dad, John A. Morris. It accompanied father and son on many hunting and fishing trips in the forests, hills and streams of the Ozarks. He gave it to Johnny on his 21st birthday.
